God , sees You

God, I see You.

We’re living in a culture that constantly pushes us to want more, to be more—always striving to outdo our neighbor, or even outdo our own reflection. We chase status, success, and outward perfection—emotionally, financially, and culturally—and honestly, it’s exhausting.

Somewhere along the way, we forget: this is not why we were put here.

We weren’t created just to strive.

We were created to thrive—to live, to feel, to experience, to slow down and be truly present in the moment.

Look around, and you might feel like you’re not doing enough. You might feel unseen. But you know who sees you? God sees you.

He sees the depths of your heart, and He loves you so, so well.

And He’s whispering:

Rest, daughter. Breathe. Thrive. Slow down.

Enjoy this moment.

Enjoy the gift that life is.

But how can we be present, day to day, when our nervous systems are constantly overstimulated—when we’re pushing our bodies like machines, beyond what they were ever designed to carry?

We’ve forgotten how to be human.

To be human is to experience each moment fully.

To feel each emotion as it rises like a wave.

To savor the senses—touch, smell, taste—the very things that make this world beautiful.

Yet we keep running, striving, pushing ourselves harder, forgetting to stop and simply be—to interact with creation, with the sacred world God lovingly made for us.

A gift.

Not a race.

A gift to soak in, not to survive.
