The morning brings a new opportunity for a new start. “This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it. “
My grandma Pat would always tell me that verse every time we would see her.
Coming to Grandma‘s house was such a treat, she always had oatmeal cookies that the sugar had been cut out of. And with a happy smile and joyful heart, she wrapped you with her love, unconditional love, and love of Jesus.
I wish everyone would have a Grandma Pat like my Grandma Pat.
My grandma Pat became, my grandma Pat when I got married 20 years ago, I adopted her as my grandma and I believe she adopted me as her granddaughter.
Grandma taught me so much about prayer. She would write scriptures all around her house to remind her of what the Lord Jesus Christ was saying to her, and what he spoke in the word his word.
Grandma Pat profoundly changed my life by introducing prayer into my life. Grandma taught me how to be resilient when things are hard. She was and is a prayer warrior 🥹
Pay attention to those people that come into your life and bring light, bring joy, and bring you a new perspective. It’s as if they were breathing life into you.
Thank you for this !
