How Are You Using What God Has Entrusted to You?
Scripture: Matthew 25:14–30
Lord, help me steward wisely the abilities, gifts, and graces You’ve given me. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight. Teach me to love my brothers and sisters—and all those You’ve made for Your glory. Make me a vessel of Your love and peace. Shape me in Your likeness, and lead me in Your everlasting way.
In the parable of the talents, a master entrusts his servants with a portion of his wealth before leaving on a journey. To one servant, he gives five talents. To another, two. And to another, one. Each is given according to their ability.
The first two servants invest and multiply what they were given. But the third, out of fear, buries his one talent in the ground and returns it untouched. When the master returns, he’s pleased with the first two—but deeply disappointed in the one who chose safety over faithfulness.
This parable isn’t just about money. It’s about stewardship. God has entrusted each of us with unique gifts, graces, and opportunities—every day.
We have the power to reach out with kindness.
To lift up the hurting.
To share truth in love.
To be His hands and feet in a world longing for healing.
So today I ask:
How are you using what God has entrusted to you?
Are you burying your gifts out of fear?
Or are you choosing to walk in faith, using what you’ve been given to bring Him glory?
